I like this too, other than the notion that I "choose" not to drink alcohol...it doesn't work that way for me! I am powerless over the stuff...every minute of every day. It is not by my human choice (will power) that I am kept sober...I have some help, know what I mean?! :)
Yes good point well taken, certainly was not my grace that allowed me to have what I consider my last choice to go on to the end,jails instituions,deriliction or death or find a new way to live...... saw this on a site where it was incessantly argued about "are you recovered or in recovery..Big book says this,but anyone coming in a room saying"im a real recovered alcoholic causes the hive to stir and on and on!! AND THE TALK ABOUT I AM... ANDA ETC...certainly would split the session and find another room where we could discuss more about our primary purpose......j
