In 7 days--Im going on a new life cruise, and theres no boats involved--figure that one out:)
Kinda like the line below "Take the route-and know where you want to go"
And Im not tellin!! hahaha God!! Life is good!!
Have a nice day!!
The route you take depends a good deal upon where you want to go. --Lewis Carroll
Day after day, the father drove to work along the same dreary highway to the same dreary job. Sometimes his daughter went to his office with him. On one of these occasions she noticed a winding road running parallel to the highway. "Oh, Daddy, let's take that road today," she suggested. After some grumbling and mumbling, the father agreed and turned off to take the side road.
To their delight, the road was lined with full trees and a rainbow of flowers. They came upon a quaint little village in which there was an office with a sign in the window, which said, "Clerk Wanted. Inquire Within." The job seemed perfect and the man accepted it with excitement he hadn't felt in many years.
Sometimes we have to risk taking a different path in order to arrive at a different place. How else can we change things in our lives that need to be changed? And how easy to do it, once we're willing to risk something out of the ordinary.
What can I do that's out of the ordinary today?
-----------------------
We all need someone who will pick us up, when most people seem to push us down.
-------------------
When we have put all of the past, in the past where the past belongs, a turning point in our destiny has occurred. These are very exciting times, because not only are we heading in the right direction, but we travel easier and faster without the excess baggage.
-------------------
When we have always been hurt, we wonder why the situation should change. We must remove our doubt. That is when our life will improve. By removing our doubt, we are changing the pattern of our life, and that is what will make the difference.

Hey Phil, Great post...are you takin' anyone on this journey with you? You aren't leaving us are you? I sure hope not. You sound positive... I like that. Hey, I know too many questions, just wondering.
I've always been the type of person who takes the road less traveled. I've met some super friends that way, seen some breathe-taking scenery that way. Hmmmmm...one time I got really lost.
All I can share with you Gammy is-Ile be gone for 5 or 6 days. God is going with me, and theres only room for 2 on the dog sled.
If you get hungry theres food in the fridge-dont forget to take out the garbage, hahaha
On a serious note. I have this little future thing thats been bouncing in my brain for a long time.
Sometime, in a number of months-and God willing-when all responsibilities are over with--concerning kids etc. Im going to take a tour--and take all the addresses of people on this board--and make a point of visiting each and everyone here--personally--within the USA and Canada. And no-I dont plan on being alone. Small RV-and just cruise the AA world.
Be prepared Gammy!! hahaha They have pizza in Texas??? Theres a beleif up here that everythings BIG in texas. Pizzas too--I hope!! (Smile)
