So far, so good. I found a great sponsor right away (she actually offered to sponsor me at my 1st meeting) and have been to meetings every day. I'm a re-retread but it seems my resistance has left the building (thank God). Grateful not only for AA but for this board---haven't written much but I have been reading & absorbing wisdom daily & I thank you for that.
Nice work! Dropping the resistance and being ready to change is what started my journey. I've learned that we must change the person who entered the halls. The program worked in it's entirety will change a person. The promises come true and the way we view life changes. Keep up the good work- it keeps getting better. You've only scratched the surface. Boy, I hated to hear that when I first came to AA. Now I find myself saying it often.
