What Kind of Day do you want to have?

Because it's up to you

Being Kind is just a matter of taking the time, most people just don't have the time, allowing someone to merge, calling someone to tell them you love them, holding the door for someone, smiling at someone, these actions take time out of our busy days, hence it's a rarity, which is a strange thing in a time full of time saving devices, from cars to ATM's to Starbucks to Fast Food

One of the Companies I work for is owned by a guy who has "one of those days" every day, he quit drinking about 12 years ago "cold turkey" and I am fairly certain he is an alcoholic, he has the emotional maturity of maybe a child between 3 and 5 years old, temper tantrums all day long, he gets angry at inanimate objects with no moving parts and kicks them

It's so very sad to watch, and difficult to work with

he looks and acts exactly like the guy in this video, until this guy gets "A New Pair of Glasses"

I am so glad I only get like this rarely any more

What kind of day do YOU want to have?

Well, I have to admit, that's me some days.

Not sure I'm ready to believe that I'm the single most fortunate guy in town like that, but it's thought provoking. Thanks.

I guess I coulda shoulda handled a thing this morning a bit better but it took
time...it often does for me cause there are places I find myself in where I
identify as the poster boy for Murphy's Law and stuff goes sideways.  Course
after some investigation I always find I can do something with more patience
and acceptance and gratitude after the fact.

I was backing out of my driveway to leave for a morning meeting and got the
scare of my life.  I was driving my wife's car...special to her...and looking out
to the left and at the very last second I saw a car within feet of contact.  I'm
blind in my left eye (corrective surgery is scheduled for Thanksgiving day...I
never thought this could be corrected on anyday) and there they were like lots
of others turning into the common drive ready to use my driveway as a turn
around so that they won't have to backup streetside where they came in.  I
posted a sign years ago alerting them and others not to do it...they don't
pay for the damage to the properties they turn around at and then... I stopped
at the sign and they stopped behind me and I pointed to the sign...they didn't
seem to even notice like they were in another country so I just went.  Took a
mile or so for the anger and resentment to go down...doing 60 in a 45 mph
zone helps turn on the warning signals.  I never fail to take it out on myself
when "stuff" happens.  Let it go and later went and did some fishing or maybe
I should call it casting practice.  I'll let you know if I hook into a "pole bender"
not an attitude bender.

TFLMS...smile

I am the original King Baby! Waaaah! I am special! Why doesn't everyone else see how smart I am! Don't they know who I am!! Nobody knows what I have to put up with! So many idiots in the world and it's such a burden to always be perfect and right. Poor me. :)

Sad thing is I actually do slip into this at times.
