Hi my name is flumpy and I am realy new to this, not even 24 hours!

but I need help to stop the demon, can't do face to face, I haven't the gut's so I see this as my only hope.

I was wondering if anyone here is from England , London/Greater London. Does anyone know of any rehab clinics or places like that where I can go for free.

Please don't take this the wrong way but I was in the chat room earlier and the name 'cabbagehead' was mentiond to me as they work in London, and I was told that maybe this person could help me .... I don't mean to be rude  or too forward, I would just like some nice friendly advice from someone who knows what I'm going through.

Any help from anyone would be so great,

Thankyou, flumpy...

Hi flumpy.:) I sent an email to Cabbagehead-hopefully hele show up on the board, and maybe be able to help, with the information, your looking for.

Until that happens--we have a lot of great recovering people on this board, that are here to share our experience strength and hope. We care about YOU. And weve all been where youre at, in some form. All addicted to alcohol.

My name is Phil, and a very good freind of mine, and myself were the ones in the chat room with you.:) and its great to see you here. Just another step forward.

See? Youre opening up to us already. Isnt that great? We all share a common bond Flumpy. We are all in the same boat together--not picking up a drink-one day at a time--and learning a new way of life, without alcohol.

Share with us--anytime-night or day. You dont hafta be alone any more.

Hi flumpy and welcome.

My first f2f was terrifying. Took me several tries to actually go in. But once I did I knew I was home, where I belonged, with a family I needed and who needed me just as much.  I was welcomed with open arms and open hearts. Just remember they're all there for the same reason as you.
I don't know how it works where you are, but here in the US we can call the local AA chapter and someone will come and pick us up for a f2f if it's needed. You may want to check that out.

You're in my prayers.

Keep me posted.
Keep coming back

with love, Doll
