just a query about Tom. I heard he was an alcoholic and wondered wether or not he`s a recovering alcoholic. This weeks been a roller coaster with lots of feelings emerging that I`d forgotten I had but I`ve got through it with the help of my sponsor and my higher power. My poor wife`s suffered though and I`m having to say sorry an awful lot along with cuddles ++
Tom Waits is super private, so I dunno if he's an alkie or not, I just know he drank heavily for a long time, which he's made public. As for AA or any of that, I have no idea. I posted one of his songs a few days ago that's one of my faves, but overall I love most anything he does. He keeps popping up in movies I watch lately, too! Always a nice surprise. One of the recent ones I saw which a lot of folks in this forum would probably love was The Book Of Eli. He's in there.

we try to keep that stuff pretty anonymous, as in we respect each other's anonymity, and we don't use our own last names "in public" and we don't announce ourselves at the level of Press, Radio, and Film, over the years if you travel around and hit meetings in places like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Marin County, New York, London chances are pretty good you will see some pretty famous people
and not tell anyone
