My primary purpose -

The preamble states:  My primary purpose is to stay sober and help the alcoholic who still suffers...

p.164 BB: Ask him in your morning meditation what you can do each day for the man who is still sick..(a vision for you) ask and you will receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened..I have recently incorporated this in my morning prayer..it does wonders for my primary purpose..

p.417 BB: "Acceptance is the key to all my problems today"...Dr. Paul states it clearly...

This followed by the Serenity Prayer as many times as necessary always works..turns it around..gives me the acceptance, courage to change, and the wisdom to know the difference..

p.86 BB: "When agitated or doubful, pause and ask for the right thought or action..

p.64 BB: "When the spititual malady is overcome, the mental and the physical straighten out..always have to work to improve on this one...everything hinges on it.."

BB:  "I have a daily reprieve contingent on the maintenance of the spiritual condition.  This spiritual life is not a theory I have to live it.."

Just wanted to share..

I read this here, I think, a while back, and thought it was excellent.

It went something like this:

The BB and a cookbook are a lot a alike. You can read a cookbook all day, but until you put it into action you will continue to starve.

Hope everyone has had a grate, sober day! I have!

Love
