It was great talking with you this morning Rick-thanks for the call. Easy does it Buddy, and Keep it Simple. One day at a time-one thing at a time. Sober.

God can do the driving, but we hafta put the gas in the car.:)

And I agree. Sometimes, we just hafta look at whats important and whats really not.

Slow it all down-and enjoy. Pick all the weeds out of the garden and chuck em. The end result is peace and serenity.

That line "How important is it" is a big one.

We run around all over the place looking for contentment and happiness, through material things and everything else Bud.--but we are never content.

These 12 steps are the key to happiness and contentment within. I have that today--but it took a long time to get it.

That happiness and contentment does not come from the outside world, I always thought that it did.

Be at peace with you, my freind--slow God mode. And screw the rest of the bull crap--because thats all it really is. Get rid of it--all of it--and replace it with the gifts that our program and a God of our understanding, have to offer.

It all comes down to this:

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change

The courage to change the things I can

And the wisdom to know the difference.

Trust in God

Trust in the process

Trust in yourself.

You have a great day!!

Hey thanks I got a phone call the minute I hung up with u. I had to go show a place to a recovering women. Letting GOD handle this deal. It's kind of complicated and not worth the effort to try to explain!! We'll see how it plays out. It always works out if I get out of the way. I want what I want when I want it   NEVER WORKS  God has given me wonderfull things, not when i wanted them, but when i needed them.  I guess if it's not fatal it's no big deal.  It's usually just a big deal between the ears!!  The monkey thinking!!

"Much to our relief, we discovered we did not need to consider
another's conception of God. Our own conception, however inadequate,
was sufficient to make the approach and to effect a contact with
Him. As soon as we admitted the possible existence of a Creative
Intelligence, a Spirit of the Universe underlying the totality of
things, we began to be possessed of a new sense of power and
direction, provided we took other simple steps."

Thanks guys!! great reminders I really needed to hear today. God is driving the car, I put a little gas in it today. I'll put more in tomorrow. You know it seems like when I let Him drive, the car goes farther.

Have a great sober evening!
