Good morning, my wonderful MIP family

Just wanted to touch base and let you all know I'm fine and say that I hope you all are too. From the looks of the posts being made everyone is rowing their little ole hearts out. Think I'll grab a paddle too.

My memories have subsided some since my last "give away". Not sure how to interpret all of it into my 4th step, but it will come in time. My new sponsor wants me to call every Wed and Sun at 8pm, she says it's for discipline for both of us! We'll read the Daily Reflections and discuss it or anything else I need to. Of course I can call her anytime, but that's our appointment schedule....... Things are looking up and I seem to be on the right track today.

I have been avoiding my mother the last few days, she lives over 500 miles away. I figured it would not be good to talk to her while all this resentment (of her) is fresh, I don't want to take a  chance in taking a step backwards!

The good news is "my man" is back from his 2 week  trip and we spent yesterday together. He has such a wonderful spirit and I find spending time with him has a way of helping me to maintain  serenity - he's almost as good as an AA F2F meeting.

Love, hugs, and prayers.

Doll
