I didn't think it was any deal, just a number-500. Here it has snuck up and I am happy. May I have many more posts in me.
I've gotten so much from being a member here at MIP, and always hope that I'm able to give back something I've gotten.
This was a total lifeline in early recovery. Accidental (HP?!) direction got me to this board and this was where I discovered that an answer to my destructive drinking program was there waiting if I was willing. You all said go to meetings and I did!
Today I have a sober life through AA and the 12 steps and I'm eternally grateful to everyone who is willing to share and grow together here.
Congrats on 500 posts and "Old Timer" status Angelov8! You're the most memorable newcomer to MIP, that got sober and stayed. Apologies if I forgot someone. What an example that you are and have been to our newbies that were/are also hesitant about going to there first meeting or going back to try again.
