Hey Lin! nice to meet ya!! I belIEve they are differEnt people! I am referring to Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen! recorded 'HOT ROD LINCOLN" IN THE 60"S  'MY PAPA SAID SON YOU GONNA DRIVE ME TO DRINKIN' IF YOU DON'T STOP MESSING WITH THAT HOT ROD LINCOLN!!!  gOOD BAND ,GREAT CUT!!!  we are probably from different time era's!!!:)  if you Google it I bet you can hear the cut!! think I'll do that now.peace..thanks for being here.......

Hey Lin cool that is george frayne!!!  from the airmen! I just read the bio......    I sometimes refer to myself as commander cody or capt. video from Honey mooners or others in my head in passing. I have been playing drums since an early age and refer to musical literature or individual players at times...it is not meant in disrespect or in identity theft, just a quirk of mine.......George frayne has to be at least my age ,more than likely older... i'm 62  born in 3/48..........smile

Yes, I know who you mean, he is a friend of mine, I have known him for 35 years, my sister used to babysit his his kids when he lived across the street from us, I have years and years of other history with him, he is an art major and I am a sculptor, that is where our friendship really developed, let me know if you want his Facebook page so you can watch some of his latest shows

edit: He's about your age, a little older then me, he's actually an incredibly interesting man with some unsuspected depth not apparent when you first meet him with an incredible education in ALL the Arts

He said something to me about 15 years ago that has always stuck with me, "The difference between your art and mine, is mine takes you back to a moment in time" and it's true, whenever I hear the song "smoke that cigarette" I go back to sitting in a truck in Texas when I was a kid

I saw CC and lost planet airmen a couple times in the '90's in Tampa. They rocked. I was surprised at how young CC looked wondering how that could be the original singer. Amazing.
