The Legal STRESS begins again...

... and I am sooo glad to have a program of recovery to work, in the midst of it. The legal crap has begun regarding the divorce. With both sides not wanting to pay for anything as far as all the fees and added B.S. goes.... and yes, I am feeling hurt and resentful that this man is sitting on a pile of money (makes 6 figures a year), and expects me to pay for these endless little fees...... stressed to the max. And I know this is a time for resentments to run AMOK.... so please say a prayer for your sister in recovery, and also that I might not get my ulcer back as I go through all this.no

Thank you, my friends.
hmm

Hi my friend,

We talked about this months ago, you need the STONGEST ATTORNEY YOU CAN FIND. SOMEONE THAT HAS A REPUTATION FOR WINNING, AND CAN BE A BULLDOG IN THE COURT ROOM...

Remember Joni, it is just a combative fight to the finish line for these attorneys.....you have those papers that you copied eons ago, right.....give it all to you attorney let them fight the fight....it is really all about money and the old WINNING Thing to them.....why did this start, I thought you and Josh were taking it slow and easy and he was helping you with stuff, what changed????

Love and hugs,
Toni

Toni, I cannot afford the guy I went to see!! I just can't!! And according to him, the likelihood of Josh having to pay for his fees is low (I am in Ohio, and our laws may be different from yours). I have no children either.

He just sold my Jag a few weeks ago... he has started selling suff off.... this means trouble to me. I have to get someone I can afford, and NOW.

So, please just pray that my Higher Power will work this out in the best interest of everyone.

I am grateful that I have a decent paying job. I do not have benefits yet (Josh still pays for mine), but they should be offered to me in a couple of months, which is good. But with what it costs me to LIVE and the added expenses for shool, even with student loans I will not be able to make ends meet unless I get this thing going and get it resolved and have the knowledge I need of how I can budget. As it stands right now, he uses money as a tool to try to get me to do what he wants regarding the divorce. And since I am not bending to his will (which is anullment), he is leaving me hanging out to dry, even though I am legally his financial responsibility still.

I know, lots of information here..... but it is what it is.

Divorce sucks, for everyone involved. I am not taking anyone to the "cleaners", I just don't believe in it. But my ex is trying to wear me down a bit, for sure.

As a divorced woman myself I really, really agree with Jtoni! If your ex has always made more then you as for a mediator to help settle the finacial bull. They work with percentages. Get a bulldog lawyer for sure!

Ugh.... well, just spoke to ex, who would rather hurry the process along (undoubtedly due to his current girlfriend he has been having live with him on and off since I moved out)... and with that in mind, at least for today, he is willing to come to my terms. But I had better get this in writing signed, sealed and delivered, like YESTERDAY.... lol before the tide once again turns.
