Just thought I'd say G'day and let you know I'm glad you're back.
How's the road on your side of the world? Am pulling the horse out for the day tomorrow, taking my mate and my munchkins over to a regional town for a shopping spree.
They are taking off next week for a Rock Eisteddfod, so of course they simply MUST have new this, that and whatever's... They've made lists
Have the Auto Show Saturday and still don't have the vans ready for the visitors...some weeks are just plain hectic. Feels like I've run a day behind all week.
Then I am off again next Wednesday for a 350k ride and night in posh villa...which I am sooooo looking forward to. Can't wait actually, but will just have to, cos its still half a week away. I was going to camp for a few days and then I thought...why don't ya just keep it simple and just go for a night and stay in style instead. Why not? Costs the same and I don't have to haul any extra stuff, pay someone to feed the critters etc.
Heard a guy on the radio today saying people make pledges to have "date nights" with their partners to keep things healthy, but they forget to organise "self time" in the same way.
Anyway...I am jabbering and very sleep deprived.
Glad you're back - that's actually all I wanted to say.
You're just lucky no roads lead to dog sled land, cos I would very much like to see one. I like dogs - especially big long coats.
Made myself a promise I wouldn't head back overseas till I'd seen all there is to see here in Aus... so I figure you are pretty safe for a bit...I still have two states to explore here yet, before you need to deadlock your doona over your head...
When my ex ended up with a bullet in his arse and I had to nurse the crotchety ol pain in the butt while he learned to walk again, I decided guns were just about as useful as tits on a bull. So, you won't see me toting smoking barrels today, ol mate.
Hey anyway, been putting the knees in the breeze everyday. Take the scooter to a meeting sopmetimes twice. About 250 miles in 2 days. That's nice ya know!!!
Critters are a problem here also. Vary expensive for the sitter. 2 horses, 9 pigs, 7 chickens, a dog and a cat. the last time i had to pay i had another dog and cat.
Today's deal--- horses are gitting a shock off there auto waterer. Teying to figure that out.
got a whole lot to do, but have to settle for sober and the best i can!! God take it!!
Ya know!! Got to move thru some reading, may have a tax preparer coming over. Who knows?? He didn't return any of my phone calls. Things have to change, slooowly> I hope.
Have some fun on your outing. I did the camping thing for 4 days a lot of work.
I need to keep it simple now. External circumstances make it real tough. I have property, critters , fences, trees, to many motors, etc. I keep telling the wife to much stuff. She dosen't seem to hear.
nO TIME TO CHECK HOW BAD I DID ON THIS MESSAGE SO POST IT I GUESS
