I got an email asking me to stay in touch so I thought I would give a quick post. Now sober 3 mnth/15 days and very much enjoying my recovery. I don't post a lot, but I try and log onto MIP at least once a week. I love to read and just absorb all of the recovery that is shared. I am in the process of moving from Los Angeles to New Mexico and that is a really, really, really lot of work and stress! Although I have given most of the stress over to my HP. It is either going to go smooth as silk or we're going to have a few road bumps. No matter what, we are going to get through it. I have been trying to get to at least one meeting a day, talking to my sponsor and AA friends etc..... But I also try and take a walk along the ocean at least once a day. Even if it is only for a couple of minutes. It is beautiful, calming and brings me peace and serenity. God has been very good to me over the last few months (well all of my life really) and I have a lot of reasons to be grateful. I don't take my recovery for granted anymore. Recovery is a gift, a gift I can share with others. So thank you all for your posts and helping me stay sober one more day.
HI Sue, nice to hear from you and that you are doing well. Thanks for reminding me that I should never take being sober for granted. We , who are sober, no matter how long really are the chosen ones and we have been given a gift - like you said is meant to be given away.
So, please continue to share your esh and your positive attitude. Cuz if you helped me tonite, then Im sure there are others who can use the help too !!

Oh God! That sounds so beautiful - it's times like that I feel most close to my HP.
Sending you love and BIG hug and once again....WELL DONE!!! Louisa xx
Sue, Nice to hear from you. Glad to hear things are going well. It's also great to see you planning a move and given the results over to your HP. I need to be reminded of that often. Keep in touch, even if it's occassionally.
