Fun exercise, if you're bored:

1) Calculate how many days you've been sober

2) Turn to that page in the Big Book

3) See if anything jumps out at ya or there's anything you can learn or re-learn

4) If it's a personal story, count how many similarities there are between you and the person whose story it is.

Me today, 514 days - in 4th edition, I found 14 similarities with the person's story just on that single page.

Actually I guess once you exhaust the number of pages in the Big Book, you could start over - but instead of days, figure out how many months.  That would get you through your first 48 years biggrin.gif

wow this shouldn't be too hard for me.... when I have a few more months, I could actually be halfway through the Big Book! LOL Good exercise for the beginner or re-tread.

This is a good exercise for old timers too.  We are all progressing or we are going back to where we came from.   There is no standing still in AA for me.

Larry,
