I am tasked to go to Glasgow for work reasons and I'll be there for 3 nights. So....................
I'm leaving the car at home, taken the cat to the cattery and I'm getting the bete brun out, the bike, the beast, I shall be a road warrior for a few hours.
Going up the A1, call off at Mum's for a cuppa, then A1, get my kicks on the A66, M6, M74, M8. Coming back I'm tempted by M8, M74, M6 then A684 and A1 or a striaght balst down to Manc and then take either the snake pass or the woodhead pass.
I'll be up threr for my 54th birthday and my boss is taking me out for dinner (hopefully not candlelit) and I'm looking forward to meeting the people in the rooms that I met 2 weeks ago.
Finally, on Sunday, I'm off on another tour round leicestershire and lincolnshire.

Great ride up on Tuesday, even better ride back on Friday, meeting on Friday, my sponsee's 1st sober birthday, had a day off Saturday, doing my housework and washing while listening to KT Tunstall and Mr. Rea, then spent the Sunday with 2 or 300 like minded souls riding the lanes of Leicestershire and lincolnshire. over 900 miles in 3 days of riding - I started with an Aprilia and finished with a BSA (Bloody Sore Arse!)
