Why my life is peaceful.

I used to be a selfish and self centred person, who was a restless, irritated and discontented individual. Through recovery I learnt how to give. This has been my daily practise. To give quitely and stop complaining about what others are not doing or doing wrong. It's difficult but I always try to focus on Gonee. Prayer helps. My tongue used to get me into trouble, so I used to ask God:"Please Lord do not let me say anything that you cannot control."
Pg 66&67  AA book:".....that this world & its people were often quiet wrong."
"...the world & its people really dominated us." ".....perhaps spiritually sick."
"......God save me from being angry." " .......God will show us......." Another promise perhaps.
Peace came when I learned to " trust infinite God rather than our finite selves." pg 68.

Today I "humbly rely on Him..." Pg 68.
God bless,
Gonee.
