Goodnight...

Just dropped by to read the posts. I had a great day, I traveled 100 miles to take my son out to lunch for his 19th birthday. He was my sobriety baby, the one that got all my attention. It was fun, 2 of his roommates met us and we ate seafood. It was just a wonderful time, lots of laughing, joking and just about him.

We did a little shopping, and I said my goodbyes, got home in time for an A.A. meeting. His Dad had signed his birthday card, but he never did ask me how his Dad was.He just said tell him thanks, their relationship is still very strained and I feel it is not my place to tell him of the resent events. He will find out what he's suppose to know if he's suppose too.

Well, it's time to get back to Mom's, and thank God for another day of sobriety.  Thanks for being here, always.

(((Hugs)))
