I can't stay sober without both AA meetings and the 12 steps
I hope you have gone down enough to hit your bottom, surrender and go to a meeting. Then get a sponsor and start the steps to a life that is happy joyous and free. I care about you!!
Larry, --------------------- Give us 90 days and if your life doesn't get better, we will gladly refund your misery
Dear God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Relapsed tonigt. I guess you all were right that I need to go to AA meetings. 28 days gone down the tubes.....
May peace be with you.........
Franny
Aint nothin gone if you learned something
I guess you all were right that I need to go to AA meetings
Why lookee there, lesson learned, it's worth it if you get a good knowledge of your condition and what treatment is necessary for your condition to be arrested
question now is how many more times you think you gonna need to learn that lesson or are you gonna git yer hiney to a meeting tonight, because sure as sh*t by tomorrow and definately day after tomorrow yer mind will have gotten a foothold and started telling you stories why you don't need AA
keep us posted, we'll leave the light on for ya

Franny,Welcome home ,we love you. After knowing sobriety, relapse can be the jarring experience that brings about a more rigorous application of the program. Start again, think honestly about any reservations you may have had in your process and do the work. For me, I must remain vigilante each and everyday and remain striving to know the will of my Higher Power, using spiritual priciples and doing service that reminds me I am always just "one bad decision away from devastation.Lets see ya tomorrow working your day back.We are here for each other no Big 'I's or Little "U's, just one helping another....Be blessed you have the honesty and courage to admit you stumbled but you picked yourself up and moving forward again.Stay close to your support(in and out of the rooms)

Nope, not down the tubes. You learned a lot with those 28 days, you learned what keeps us sober and what doesn't. Now you can take that valuable information and do what actually works!! That's my take, and how it has been for me. Dust yourself off, Franny, for tomorrow we ride!!

Sorry to hear Franny but really glad to see you right back here. I found that I really had to get to meetings in order to access the AA program. I love meetings now. I heard a guy saying last night that he never even had to think to have a drink. Now he never even has to think to get to meetings. I fee the same. It's a good feeling.
