hi Blake, you are right about the requirement of rigorous honesty. without it none of the steps work. Sponsors are doing step 12 when they take a sponsee, and it is for the mutual benefit of both people. we all have different speeds of learning how to live, but meetings and sponsors have a huge part in our recovery. thanks for posting.
