I'M BAAAACK!!!

Hi everyone, I do hope y'all have missed me a quarter as much as I have missed this place!!  Just got reconnected today with a brand new computer and modem, so hopefully I will stay put for a while now.

I'm trying to remember what I used to do before computers (and it WASN'T drinking, I only ever heard of PC's once I'd got sober)

Anyhow, it is good to be back, I will try n catch up on what I've missed, which is probably impossible cos it must have been 6-8 weeks since we crashed out, and I know we got a right gobby lot on here.

You never know what you've got till it's gone eh? biggrin

Well, to highlight what you missed, I lit myself on fire and Biker Bill has a flatulence producing man-flu. St Pete Dean went to an AA beach party wearing a stout beer shirt. Oh, and all the other stuff involving not drinking.

biggrinbiggrin+  Thanx everyone, I just got home from a lovely meal in a fabulous (expensive!!) Indian restaurant, but what the hell, it's not everyday you have a 56th birthday is it? and all my family were there, 2 daughters and their partners and my 3 grandkids and my partner JC.  Stuffed ourselves silly, and I had to ask for a 'doggy bag'

I asked for a garlic naan bread, and when it came, hung on a spiked rack - it was the size of a sodding single duvet!!!  I took loads of pics of it from different angles, and I was just about to say, 'Hell, is that just for the four of us?' when they brough another one and said, 'this one must be yours then madam?'  It was ONE EACH!!!  HUGE they were, couldn't believe my eyes.

If I can work out how to downsize pics to post on here I'll try and post one.

Dear Avril,
Truly have missed you.  Until I saw the post about your computer I thought you decided we were too glum a lot and opted out.  I love nan,  and can't imagine one big enough that I couldn't eat it all myself.  There's no Indian around here unless I make it.  Hope to see the pic.

This isn't very clear, but you can see the size of the naan bread.  From left round in circle :- Emma (eldest daughter and her daughter AnyaMae)  Youngest daughter Laura and partner Rob with their daughter Libby Grace, right side JC, me, Billy (eldest grandson) son-in-law Carl and my nan in the middle.  Have tried to resize the pic bu so long sinceI used photobucket it has changed and I couldn't work out how to do it.
