It's been a while since I had the chance to get on line, so I've made up for it by spending a couple of hours catching up tonight.
I had from last Thursday to this Tuesday on holiday and have been way, way too busy for my own good.
Thursday, 3 mile round trip walk to teh printers and back, looked at a couple houses that I sorta, kinda fancied, then a meeting in the afternoon, a trip to buy a decent pair of walking shoes, Weight Watchers and home. Sponsor is back. The big ol' beast on the left is back on the road! Hoorah!
Friday, researched the possibility of getting a mortgage - not without a huge deposit, which I don't have. Bum. Then a meeting.
Saturday - family easter dinner, one of my brother's can be a bit of a pita, he tried to push my buttons but I wouldn't throw them on the table. Otherwise a good time. Saw a peregrine falcon. 180 mile round trip.
Sunday, lazy old day, but got to a meeting in the afternoon. Spent some time with a couple of brothers in the fellowship and step 4,5,6 and 7 with a sponsee.
Monday, a trip to see my mum in law (She's got alzheimers and is in a home). 340 mile round trip, got back too late for a meeting, enjoyed seeing my mum in law.
Today - Housework!, cooked a huge lasagne and some home made ciabatta, discussed long term financial plans with wife (we're still separated, but good friends), realised that I'd wanted to do this for a while and then of course, a meeting. Car needs a service.
All in all, not too bad then. Back to work tomorrow.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I'm one of those that believe that marriage is 'till death - even if we were to get divorced, I think I'd still be married.
But then that's how I feel today and if there's a better partner for me out there, I haven't met her, then again, I'm not looking.

Bill,
I am not sure but I believe Dean was talking about a new Bike, not a new wife. LOL
