I don't really have to post this but I'm so ego-centric.......haha
Dean- I've talked with you (Actually) and virtually, and outside of my old sponsor, you seriously have been prolly the most relevant recovery voice in my head over the past year and a half. 3000+ posts? Gosh it seems like so much more..LOL...
Hey Dean ,thanks for shouting out BigV.I was going to mention it but I know the situation you were in and didnt want to tread in those waters for the serenity of the board.Good for you man,he is definitely another one 'boldly going"!!!!

When I first came across this board and saw one of the regular posters was a "St. Pete Dean", my first thought was, for goodness sake Pete where's the humility in that? (wasn't taking your inventory ....promise!)
Then I saw this very experienced & knowledgeable individual signed his posts Dean!
Oh! I see! "St Pete" MUST be a place! God! Louisa ....WAKE UP !
I really do appreciate your forthright and wise counsel (Not always at the time! !)
But when I cease being defiant ! ! I value your experience, strength and hope immensely.
Thank you ........and here's to at least 3000 more !!
You've been a great support to me!! Keep coming back!;)

Hey Mike, Vini and I have had a couple dozens since last summer. No big deals right?
Thanks Leeu, I appreciated all the emails from you last summer as well. It was a rough summer/fall. I completely devistated my hamstring (couldn't walk for a week) 8 months later and it's still healing. 3 weeks after tearing the hamstring, I was working in NC and came down with H1N1 flu and stepped on a nail (2.5 month injury), which caused me to hobble on both legs. A month after that I destroyed the tendon in my elbow ("golfers elbow"), which is just healing up now. Monday I turn 50 and the "welcome to 50 injuries" just came a little early. I had the same sort of thing at 40. It's life's way of telling you to slow down a little. I was very grateful to have my MIP family.
Always read what you have to say, it's always great stuff, sometimes I catch myself wondering.....he must really type fast :)....well faster than yours truly.....
Thanks for all your inspiration to all of us! Toni
Little self centered me...."how did Dean know that I dropped out of highschool?".... a very bright light came on.....oh I think he was talking about himself.....
Dear Dean, thank you for just how much you've given & continue to give to our board. Your stalwart support & fair hand is a consistant voice of HP that reaches out to so many, shares also your own & has been a good anchor to me as well. Thank you for everything that you contribute. Congratulations on your 3000 posts of seasoned & wise experience, strength & hope!
I love to watch & find inspiration in your example. You've so very often encouraged me in my fledgling sobriety, confidence & helped me to grow & grow up. Thank you for being such a wonderfully loving brother. Thank you for your service & your faith in all of us. Bonded in our common purpose, recovery love always 1Day@aTime.. Danielle x
