I know not to count the days but make the days count but I really want my to earn my 30 day coin again as it helps inspire me. Please say a prayer for me that I may get this in 5 days, as I will pray for you to stay sober to, thanks!

congrats steve, It's amazing isn't it? I remember when I had about 3.5 weeks. It was when I noticed that I had like three "good" days in one week! I was like, "I can do this". Keep your eye on the prize, It's really important to get to 90 days. It took me 2 years and 3 months to get 90 days, but I knew after that that I was going to make it.

yeah you are right. Stay with today, enjoy each new person you meet, go out for coffee with a new member, as well as, the old!
You have the right to feel great about this accomplishment once again. But never forget you have to give in order to stick around. What you can give is hope to the person who just has 2 days or even one. We need you and thanks for sharing!

Aloha Steve...memories!! The early lesson was focus and patience both at the same time. It all adds up one day at a time. congradulations on the time you have today.
Steve, Congrats man! If counting up those days makes you feel good, then do it! Why do you think they give chips out at those milestones? I looked forward to each of those chips and by the time a year came, I was in the habit of not drinking and going to meetings, calling my sponsor, and trying to work these steps...You are doing great and are right where you are supposed to be today. As someone else said, if you like counting the days, then please count to your hearts content.....after all the record in this Program is only 24 hours...so do the math.
I had to pop in here to say that your enthusiaum and willingness, and your Positive attitude about being in AA is so awesome, and very contagious, I am sure it is rubbing off on some that go to your meetings. As well as it is rubbing off on some here too.
And I just said a Prayer for the following five days for you, and please write us a Post on your 30 day coin...Just keep asking your HP for that strength, it will be there, HE does not let us down EVER..when we are working for it, and you sure have that one down.
