Good Sources to find a local meeting???

Hi Everyone:

Haven't been here in a few months. no  Feeling awful about it, and trying to get ahold of myself again, and try to attend a meeting.  A few of you, in the past, sent me some really great links, sharing where I could go in my area (Boston, MA). If anyone has a moment, would you mind sharing some resources you have?

Thank you kindly biggrin

Have you tried this site?  http://www.aaboston.org/  Looks good.  Around here there is an Intergroup site, but I don't see one for Boston.

Good luck and keep coming back!

From what I hear from the snow birds and ex-boston residents here in Florida, Boston has one of the best sober communities going.

ET,
Pinkchip is right.  I live in the next state up (NH) and have heard and met people from AA in the Boston area.  Many of them speak at my Monday night speaker meeting.  There's tons of great meetings down there.  I hope you get to one soon.

I got to go to a double speaker meeting last Saturday. Both speakers were from Boston and ex-longshormen... It was interesting hearing their stories. One had 25 years sober and the other 38 years. There was a literal horde of people from Boston that had flocked there to City Hall to hear them.

who are you callin' snowbirds? :) it's 45 degrees here today! :)

kidding. I checked out all of the sites mentioned above and you seem to be right.

Thanks to EVERYONE!

I plan to try to do this right this time. Check out some meetings. Look at some literature. And keep checkin' the boards :)

Much appreciation.
