Meeting Nights

Hi All

What has happened to the Tuesday and Saturday Night Meetings?

I for one, try to be on either night all the time lately.

Has interest  in it dropped off that much?

Would like to know.

Seems to me we should be setting an example to all the new people we are getting.  Especially first/new comers to AA and the Board.

that'd be cool. i'm trying to find something online to supplement my desire to attend a meeting - when i can't.

my husband works evenings th-sat and holidays and it's rare to have a babysitter for a meeting, especially since most are at their bedtime - boo.

:) fridays...saturdays... would be a cool regular time.

so... i'm just going to keep rolling with this, because i wish i could make more meetings. i would have gone yesterday and today, for sure. i'm so focused on beer right now. i just want it, lots and lots of it. i've been getting panicky at bedtime and can't sleep.

there are lots of meetings, but most are at the times when my husband is working and then ALSO at the time of my children going to bed... i could drop them at my fathers, but they'd be up till near 10 by the time i get them home, it's not good for them. i'm stressed out. there is one on thursdays, that i hear has a sitter, but i'm not sure because it isn't marked in the literature and i called and it rang. ugh.

thanks for reading.

Hi Erin, look at the meeting schedule in your area. There are probably morning and noon meetings if you can make them. Also call the AA number in your area (local intergroup office) and ask them about help with your meeting/children situation, they may be able to help.
