I'd like to come back but my home ip address is banned. I'm assuming it's because I deleted my account since I don't recall doing anything overly offensive (although as a drunk my memory isn't always reliable). I emailed an administrator but I didn't get a response...so if anyone can help me become unbanned that would be swell.
You have been sooooo missed here, wonderful 'made my day' feeling to see you make a Post.
I am Positive you have not been banned, but you might have to use or alter your name somewhat...that is my quess. and definitely your password would have to change.
If this does not help, I would ask Dean, have not seen him around today, but maybe he is around. or write Daniella, (Sobrietyspell) another Moderator that could help you get in...
One more thing, did you try to log in using a different name that might help to, or alter your name a little.
Ok, that's all I have for now. Looking so forward to hearing from you and how things are going.
Your voice has changed Tipsy..wanna share; fat fingers and all? Scroll back in the pages and catch up with whats been happening since you ran down to the next corner. Wanna share?
I created a new account using my cel and altered my name but I still get the "your IP address has been banned" message if I try to log on from home.
I don't know if I have much worth sharing. I decided that I wasn't an alcoholic and tried to "drink like a gentleman". I looked up the definition of gentleman and much to my suprise it didn't say anything about being a falling on your face obnoxious booze-reeking pisstank, which is I what became (it took abou 3 hours). Thankfully it also didn't take me long to become completely sick of myself and her I am :)
Ok, did not see that you wrote that out, your IP, Or IPS number is blocked. Only a Moderator can change that, just a mistake.....sure of that one....just have to wait til Daniella or Dean reads, they can upblock the ISP, that I do know.
Just sent you a Private Message, so we can all get aquainted, it only takes a couple of hours, or an hour to figure out how to navigate around this Board,
Welcome! so happy you have joined the MIP, Miracles in Progress Board.
CONGRATULATIONS ON 21 days, outstanding!!!!!
You are really going to like this board, so many, many wonderful people here to chat with.

Tipsy! My Man! Glad you are back, but I really wish you were NOT an alcoholic and did not NEED to come back! Now, hurry up and make us laugh. We missed you. Tom

Tipster its good that you didn't let your ego get in the way of the revolving door. I know of any dozens or so of guys that can get the body back thru the door after a retrial with booze and then they can't get their head thru it. We just had a returnee get his 1 year chip again and he must have about 4 of them in the last 14 years. There are most of us who are able to stick it out and sweat out the maelstorm and then we only have compassion and love for the part of the family who needs the entire package all over again. It always gets harder and more scary is what I've heard and I hang with the relapsers cause I always want to know the mindset especially the subconscious set that wedges the alcoholic away from the group and into the fray. Glad it didn't snuff you.

Aloha JoyJune and welcome to the family good to have you here even if you did come tagging in behind James. You both will find lotsa love and support.
Although your sense of humor is one of your great assets it would seem, it did occur to me that maybe this your HP wanting you to change your moniker to something like Sober McWalkstraight. Just a thought.

Keep coming back. It works if you work it. So work it. You're worth it!
As Dean said, no one of us moderators can ban your IP address, and I know John wouldn't do that without a consensus of the moderators, so it has to be something else.
Besides, we have all had way too much fun bantering with you. I think I recall telling you that quite some time ago when we both were fairly new to this board.
We have been fortunate to get some new moderators on the board since then. Dean and Danielle are actually more set on the road to sobriety than I consider myself, although, as good practioners of AA, they would be quick to remind me that we are all only "one drink away from a drunk".
I hope to be back on the board a lot more in the future, and still hope to trade a few more ripostes with you.
