You guys "deserve" everything you have. The people I know in AA that have worked for their continued sobriety of multiple years are the most gracious, "normal" people I know. Their spouses deserve them every bit as much , vice versa. Anyways....

I'm thankful for my sponsor, for my cup of coffee and the hands that are preparing Thanksgiving supper today. I'm thankful for the AAers that I will see tonight at my homegroup.
I'm thankful for this board and all who contribute to its message.
I'm thankful for Marlboro Inc. (just for today though)

Hope everyone has a pleasant Turkey Day.

Great Post!

Deepest humbledness to a God of my understanding for a Sober life.

And to everysingle detail of my life, some good, and some, well...Just as grateful for the later.

All of my sisters and brothers here on MIP. Brand new here or 45 years sober.smile

God Bless everyone of us, and He surely does every single day of  this 24 hour a day, so far.

One of the greatest feature to this One day at a Time Program, we get to start each day all over again with a thankful Heart and Gratitude.

Not a list but just what came out of my heart, on this Awesome day of Thankfulness.

One more Prayer, to each and every single beloved young man and woman serving in a foreign and dangereous land, they surely have been in my thoughts today, and Please God, Protect Them, I am so Grateful for each and everyone one of them, my heart going over there this morning, in humble Pray.
Hugs to all,

Tonicakes

Great gratitude lists !

I am thankful to have been led to Alcoholics Anonymous where I developed and build on daily my relationship with God.
For without Him I would have nothing.  His mercy along with my reliance upon Him gives me a feeling of worthiness for all that is good in my life today, and there is plenty !!

Have a wondeful day Everyone smile.gif

........and health,
the clever person who figured out how to correct short sightedness with glasses,
food in the cupboard and more at the store
instant heat and not so instant heat
somewhere nice and clean to live, with birds in the garden,
having arms long enough to wipe my own bum with
people who are prepared to wipe someone's bum when they can't do it - I might need them someday
free health care
people who care enough to tell me the no bull truth
serenity, courage and wisdom as and when I am granted them
AA, for helping me turn my life around, for saving my life, for showing me there is a better way to live, for accepting me when I was an arrogant, obnoxious know it all,
My Mum - who said she loved me but hated what I'd done and for giving me another chance.
My wife as above - even though we don't live together.
My son and my daughter for having been in my life and maybe they'll be back one day.
