Woke up without a hangover, I've prayed to God, taken my son to little kids' soccer, did a chore, relaxed all day, have come to see my AA friends like you Toad on here and not been to the pub so far or even thought about it. Just need to get through another 8 odd hours without a trip to the pub and get to my meeting tonight and it will have been a fine old day.

Woke up clean, refreshed and sober. Thanked God for another chance at a sober day and also for the tools to keep it that way. So far, no problems to turn over.

Well, Danielle is doing just fine, chatting with others in recovery and enjoying Malta. Had the final official convention meeting at noon today, and I won a prize in the raffle, a lovely silver picture frame, which is ideal for the pic of my 3 grandkids all together.

JC and I have been in the sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pool, so feeling well chilled out.

The ones left behind have organised a meeting at 8pm this evening, so all is well in the land of sobriety in Malta.

Indeed it IS a great day. Sunny & mild here.

Of course, every day is a good day if I don't drink. There is no situation so bad that it cannot be made worse by adding alcohol.
