Hi Y'all:
Just a quick update on my AA/OA/AN & GA ladies w/e retreat; I found a sponsor (an old drinking friend of mine who has been sober and working the program for 32 years); that was providential.. yayyy for me.  She's tough but she'll keep me on track.  Thanks to you all for encouragement and support. I'll be back to the board for more of it as I can see... I've really got my work cut out for me (12 Step work/BB) ... somewhat overwhelmingconfuse
Some of your posts made me smile and laugh and kept me going through the weekend.  Good stuff!!

YAY welcome to the wonderful world of recovery darling!!! Glad to hear you had a great retreat, oddy enough first time I went on a retreat, I too met an old friend of mine last seen 20+ years previously.

I also caught up with another od friend online on a similar forum to this one, hadn't seen each other for 30 years. Small world eh?
