Hey at least Ya woke up and now have yet another chance at sobriety.

I remember those awful, horrible, ( incomprehensible, demoralizing ) down feelings of the morning after. I can almost always make myself very sick to my stomache just thinking about them .. for to long.

Get a sponsor, work the steps, find a God and get healthy. You can do it !!

Hey Allgro3,
What is your story? How far along the steps are you? It is great you came here with the truth so you can start working on today and by extension each new day one at a time.

Welcome. I was told that as long as you are still breathing, reguardless of your circumstances, there is hope. "The only requirement for A.A membership is a desire to stop drinking"(12 by 12). Keep Coming Back!

Pedro,
Welcome!  No shame.  Done it many times myself.  Put the bat away- it happens- we're alcoholics and programmed to drink.  There is hope though, and that's the best part.
Just pick yourself up, dust off and get back in the saddle.  What's your program look like?  We may be able to help if we get to know you a little better.

i am sorry to hear that you drank. Put all the negative thoughts out of your head. Think about the good things in your life. I am sorry you relapsed. Get back onto the path of sobriety.

Welcome, Pedro. One-Day-at-a-Time, one-hour-at-a-time, one-minute-at-a-time...whatever. Find a meeting, my new Friend!

Welcome allgro. I don't think that I'd be sober today if I hadn't had a couple of slips to remind me what it's like. All I can do is not take that first drink one day at a time. Keep coming back -- even if at first it just to the site.

Hope you stick around Allegro, there's a chance you might wake up sober one day, and that could be the first day of the rest of your life.

As a chronic relapser, I feel your pain. We are not alone. Just remember that as long as you are alive there is still hope. Go to meetings. Talk about it. Keep coming back.
