A LADY THAT I KNOW JUST CAME FROM COLUMBIA, SHE SMILED BECAUSE I DID NOT UNDERSTAND. THEN SHE HELD OUT SOME MARIJUANA, HA HA! SHE SAID IT WAS THE BEST IN ALL THE LAND.
AND I SAID, "NO, NO, NO, NO, I DON'T SMOKE IT NO MORE, I'M TIRED OF WAKING UP ON THE FLOOR. NO, THANK YOU, PLEASE, IT ONLY MAKES ME SNEEZE, AND THEN IT MAKES IT HARD TO FIND THE DOOR."
(Ah-ah-aye-aye)
A WOMAN THAT I KNOW JUST CAME FROM MAJORCA, SPAIN, SHE SMILED BECAUSE I DID NOT UNDERSTAND. (Parazzi! Parazzi!) (Olęcopy;!) THEN SHE HELD OUT A TEN POUND BAG OF COCAINE, SHE SAID IT WAS THE FINEST IN THE LAND.
AND I SAID, "NO, NO, NO, NO, I DON'T SNIFF IT NO MORE, I'M TIRED OF WAKING UP ON THE FLOOR. NO, THANK YOU, PLEASE, IT ONLY MAKES ME SNEEZE, AND THEN IT MAKES IT HARD TO FIND THE DOOR."
A MAN THAT I KNOW JUST CAME FROM NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE, OO, (oh no!) HE SMILED BECAUSE I DID NOT UNDERSTAND. THEN HE HELD OUT SOME MOONSHINE WHISKEY, OH HO, HE SAID IT WAS THE BEST IN ALL THE LAND. (and he wasn't joking!!!)
AND I SAID, "NO, NO, NO, NO, I DON'T DRINK IT NO MORE, I'M TIRED OF WAKING UP ON THE FLOOR. NO, THANK YOU, PLEASE, IT ONLY MAKES ME SNEEZE, AND THEN IT MAKES IT HARD TO FIND THE DOOR."
WELL, I SAID, "NO, NO, NO, NO, I CAN'T TAKE IT NO MORE, I'M TIRED OF WAKING UP ON THE FLOOR. NO, THANK YOU, PLEASE, IT ONLY MAKES ME SNEEZE, AND THEN IT MAKES IT HARD TO FIND THE DOOR."
HEY YEH!
Hey Katie, Glad you are back. I would think it is a little tough to stay sober in Majorca! Ringo should know as he is on the same sheet of music as most of us. Stay with us! Tom

Well I guess you figured out that I had not read this when I sent you that PM.
Where are you living, around family members that can help you out right now.
Saying a Prayer for you, and wishing you God-Speed in getting back to the one day at a time, that we all share here, and hope this note signals that you might stay here on MIP for a while.
What you have been through, with HIS Help, can turn into an asset one day, that is what I Pray for you.
Aloha Flump....Been doing hard time as I see it. Thats what I called it before finally saying "uncle". I still can't easily imagine that it can get that bad but your post reminds me. I'm glad you're alcohol free for now. Sobriety comes with the program, work and time. I'll pray you want nothing more for yourself for now than to be sober. The kids will be part of the celebration also as time continues to see you sober. The picture looks kinda like...well Flumpy!!
Heya Flump, glad to see you here. My disease and following my alcoholic partner took me took me out of state, away from my family...so much craziness. The split was the best thing for me too. Sobriety is a strange journey but, what I seem to notice is it inevitibly brings us back to only 1 place...ourself. And that is a good thing.

Wow, welcome back Flumpy. How good to see you again! I've been absent for quite a few months, just dropping in on occassion to catch up on everyone and then off and running again, but I say, it was so good to see your name on the board! I've wondered about you often. Another miracle making it back, yes? Love, Chris
Welcome back to the homeground, Katie & sober too.. That is a joy & a relief! Sounds like an adventure of a sort you've had there. Where are you now? Making meetings very often? It is good to be sober & coming away from those old insanities. You hung on to the drinking despite the pain for awhile there & I'm so pleased & glad you've let go. Wishing you & your family especially your children all the recovery love in the world. Keep coming back & stay close, Lady :) In recovery & respect, Danielle x
Ps. Will you put your Sobriety date up there on our MIP Birthday board so we can keep an eye out & celebrate with you! ;) Dx
