Honoring the LOST

Morning all,

Well that Post from 2 days ago, on the Homeless populations, has in the last day had me doing some soul seaching, and a rather philosophical question has been sitting in the back of my mind. Obviously they are yes Homeless, granted. But every single person out there is someone's Dad...someone's Mom....someone's Sister or Brother...Son or Daughter.

They are now LOST to their families, surly most of them, and wonder why we allow them to continue to not be fed and housed.

In spite of this nations economic crisis, we are still the richest of all countries, and don't understand in my heart why it is human nature to look the other way.

Ok, not going any further with this Post, as this question, is pretty much ritorical.

So many suffering alcoholics, newly released Vets, and mentally ill out there sitting on a curb somewhere, having that distant look on their eyes.

thought about edited this out, but no, I think I will wait and see if there are any others view on this subject.

Just offering my Prayers up to all the Lost Souls.

Thanks for reading.

Toni

I wanted to save us all when I was younger. I guess we just feel powerless to help in the end hence the desensitivity despite feeling compassion also. In the end for me I guess I feel that I was fortunate that even I could be saved or allow myself to be. My heart goes out to them with a prayer just now for a moment to honour them. May they all find what they're looking for, Danielle x

Hey Toni,
I am sorry to have brought up a subject that has caused you pain. I will say a prayer for your son. I think of our world as a group of interconnected personal journeys. Your Son's journey is a different journey and who knows what his HP has planned for him?

OUR HP.  Whatever "he" is called, I believe it "he" is the same, wheather we know it, or not...no offense to anyone, just felt like saying it.

Aloha Toni and family...for me this falls under "Trust God, Clean house and Help
others.  If it is an attitude it becomes a practice and after that a culture.  There
will always be "others" out there and there for the opportunity to do something
no matter the size to exercise gratitude and program.   "Show me what I am to
do here" is a usual conversation I have with my HP when I thinking I can be used
to support another.  It's also part of the Aloha Spirit.

(((((hugs))))) smile
