Looks so similar to a fire at The Alano Club in San Rafael, many years ago, so I can relate to how everyone is probably feeling, their "home" was distroyed in a fire.
In San Rafael, it was the Central part of the county, and had hundreds of folks that were left "homeless", (without a Homegroup), so we got together and decided to start from scratch and rebuild, it took about 9 months, and all the work, at least 90% of it was done with recovering alcoholics donating the materials and the labor.
Hope so much that this Clubhouse might be able to be restored too.
What a tremendous loss. That was your main Meeting place, right?
A Big Hug and Welcome Back Home, you sure have been missed!!!!
How awful!! I am sure it has been a shock, Doll. I hope you guys all find an alternate meeting place soon, and I am hoping no one got hurt. That is humbling, it could happen to any of us, our homes even. So sad. I am sure that place has lots of memories.
Take care, and hope you guys get to rebuild or relocate soon!
Joni

I heard we had more insurance than what we thought so rebuilding will be done. We have lots of contractors, painters, builders, etc & everyone is jumping in!
In the meantime my church has donated the dining hall to keep meetings going.
Will definatley keep you all posted.
((hugs))
