Typically nobody is showing up for these scheduled meetings, or it's hit or miss. I tried to get it going a year ago. It would be great if a few would start being there for the meeting and perhaps it would grow. Would someone like to chair the meeting for a week? We could make a sticky thread to remind people to show up for it.
I'm interested also and intimidated by the technical part of participating. Doesn't hurt to try. I think a sticky post sounds like a good idea. I would love to add at least one more meeting per week and can't seem to make it happen in town. Can do Saturdays at the moment. Did someone say there's some coaching info somewhere to help with getting aquainted with how it works?
Ok so we had a great little meeting last night with angelov8, kj, and myself. Could we get a few more people to come to the meeting next Saturday and 9pm est? I won't be able to attend as I'll be flying back from NC.
Dean, I plan to attend, sorry to hear you'll be gone, hope it's a good trip. Hey in case no one with more experience shows up or wants to lead, maybe you'd be willing to PM me with some suggestions for topics? I suppose I could ask my sponsor too. I have been to two meetings where we had to pick out of hat b/c speakers or chair didn't show. Maybe reflection on a sentence or two out of BB?
Let's start a new thread in a few days "advertizing". I know some one at meetings in town who has been asking about online, if I see her Wed. I'll mention the Saturday online meeting.
