In my little community they had a Major Water line break, so with notice the water was suppose to be off from 900 am til 500pm. Went into my bathroom and without thinking, like a reflex, started to turn on the water, it was only 1pm, it was ON, how great I thought at the time.
Then from some air that had been pumped into the pipes as part of the testing, the water that followed was like Gangbusters. And after using all the towels in my bathroom to soak up all that had splashed all over, had to change my clothes, and then thought well worst must be over, right?.............Wrong? It was about 300pm I had to do it all over again.
So now at 530pm, as they had stated the water is on and I have dry clothes on for the third and hopefully last time for today.
Just made me think of Tipsy's Signature, Why do really dumb things keep happening to me.?????
Could not even get that right, it goes, "Why do things that happen to stupid people, keep happening to me" lol!!!!
Some of us, well speaking just for myself, are very very very SLOW learners.

I would have done the same thing, Baloneybubbles. I was fixing a blockage in my sink at home once. The sink was full & wouldn't drain with the plug out so I undid the waterpipe under the sink to let the coffee grounds & peas, etc pour into a bowl when it suddenly started to get over full & I quickly poured it back into the sink.. yes, the plug was still out & the pipe not sealed. Yep, you can guess what happened lol
