Anyone else use to make them?  The little plastic tupperware thingies with the plastic handle?

In the last couple months of my drinking, I discovered that they held just a little over a shot each.  So I'd fill 'em up and take with me on my way to the bar - shots to go, one or two.  Figured that way if I got pulled over I wouldn't have an open bottle of bourbon in my car.  (Never mind all the empty bottles of beer under the seat - I could explain those away saying I liked to listen to the radio and drink in my car outside my house.)

So now whenever I see those little popsicle makers in my drawer, instead of childhood memories, I remember those last few months, drinking shots (and bottles of beer) on the way to the bar.  I kinda knew it wasn't quite normal to be doing that, but oh well.

hmm

I used to put liquor in water bottles....for driving purposes.  I can NOT drink out of them anymore.  It kinda sucks.  But I'll start thinking about straight liquor and gag.  Oh what this disease can do to us hmm.

I kept the same dirty ass 7-11 big gulp cup in my car and kept refilling that...A wonder I never thought to wash it.

I used to do the water bottle thing too.  For the longest time everytime I saw them I would get a craving, but that has gone away.  One thing that still gets me is crumpled up paper bags; always makes me do a double take.

I loved it F.S.

and Hello and Welcome Reffner!!

My favorite story of how to get what we want when we want it, is how a AA friend of mine ridged his car.  He put liquor in the wiper cleaner thingy and then ran the sprayer into his glove box.  So, all he had to do was open the glove box, push the wiper spray button and ta da, a good shot and no bottle.

I don't have a unique story anymore, heard everything I've done in the rooms and on these boards.  But, I still can't drink out of a red Solo cup.

I love it.  If we alcoholics would just put our ingenuity to good use...

Wow.. liquor in the Wind Shield Whiper Sprayers!  I don't even think McGuyver could think of that.  Very sad, yet impressive!

I never had tried to make it "more convenient".  Like I never tried to keep it secret.  I would drink a tall cans across the street from the dmv!  I guess my "strategy" was/is sticking to cans, cuz they are less obvious than glass containers.. lol..

5 days sober thanks to you're guy's help! smile

I've never had a freezer that would go low enough in temperature to freeze what
I drank with the exception of a beer and the only time I did that was to experiment
with the explosion.   A beer can will explode if left long enough in the freezer by
accident or on purpose...think I've done that one a time or two...it's been so long.

It's a mute point now.  Hot or cold I won't touch it for any reason     ...yet!

(((((hugs))))) smile
