So I'm sitting here, working on a website, and I casually reach for my 2 liter bottle of soda thinking it was 40oz. I pick it up and I'm like " What the f---? Oh yeah, I quite drinking!" LOL!

Why does he pass off his beer bottle lookalikes to you? As long as you're able to stay sober, it's all good. Tonight's my first sober night for awhile. It's pretty good :D
Here's an avatar I thought you may like! lol..

I like that! Well he just for some reason has a bunch of ginger ale that he doesn't like, and he knows I like the stuff. He should be about out of it by now, I would hope. It's kinda weird, really - last night after fireworks he stuck one on top of my truck. Trippy
you can set it as the picture to display underneath your name. right click the picture and click save image as, and save to your desktop. go back to the AA boards, and go to your account. then select change avatar. upload the one that you saved to your desktop and click select as avatar. and you're done!
You know that movie, Dumb and Dumber, well that is me today, and I play both parts. haha.
Looked just like a bat, oh well, some days are better than others.
Seriously, so happy you have decided to join us, and go to the Meetings.
I am a woman that did not start drinking until mid to late 30s, and then it went downhill pretty fast, relapsed more times than I can really count, but that is not the point.
Maybe when you are very young like yourself, you are more open to being teachable, I hope that you live out you life sober, one day at a time.
I did not get sober til the end of my fortys, and now will have 19 years, with God's Grace taking me there, (you do the math) but when you were talking about that old lady, I said, "Ouch". Well I certainly do not consider myself old, just about sixty, ouch again. Just being funny. One of the great parts of growing up in Recovery, is that with every Birthday, natal birthday, I ask myself, am I ever going to grow up, and hope the answer to that is alway no. After all I am only almost 19!!!
You take good care and have a question about your slogan, would you explain your meaning of "Dont be anonymous" I just dont understand what that means to you. "Like dont be secret?" or some other cleaver meaning. I have just never heard that before.
Toodles and so happy you are here with us.
Toni, the lady with a thousand questions today, :)

lol! hey, it's not everyday you seen a Flying Squirrel! That's actually probably the first picture/time I've ever seen one. I'd like to see like a hundred of them flying at a time. that'd be pretty crazy lol
When I was signing up, it was asking for my name, email, where I'm from, etc. I was thinking whether to put in the real information, or fake information. The only reason I thought of using fake is because often you'll start receiving spam emails and stuff if you provide your personal email. I have a "spam" email account I use for those situations.
So I thought for about a minute, and I figured the only way to have success is to be honest, and remain unanonymus. It's says Alcoholics Anonymus, however, are you really getting the proper treatment if you're not able to be honest and unanonymus about your alcoholism?
So I opt'd to put in all the real information, and hence "Don't be anonymous" was born
lol! your welcome danielle. I'm glad you liked it.

BIMP, the "Don't be anonymous" thing actually kinda works. I mean, sharing as much as you honestly can about yourself will be helpful to your recovery. Now, respecting others' anonymity is the MAJOR challenge and that is necessary for AA to work the way it does. But I'm guessing you knew that. P.S. the flying squirrel avatar rules. It reminds me of the 3rd step. Let go and soar free!

I looked just like that flying squirrel once, between the time that my bike went down and me hitting the ditch! Drinking and driving clearly don't mix!
