I jsut finished this book by Leo Buscaglia...very inspiring...
just thought i'd share some quotes from it.

this is the dedication..
Those with no concern for the Way;
Those temporarily lost on the Way;
Those diligently seeking the Way;
Those who know, but are unable to follow the Way;
Those who simply live the Way;
For all of us are one.

The new and the old have value to us only as they relate to the present. Yesterday made us what we are today, tomorrow is our dream. To live for either is to lose our only reality, the moment.

The only thing that is certain for us is change. To battle change is to waste our time; the battle can never be won. To become the willing ally of change is to assure ourselves of life.

As long as we have hope, we have direction, the energy to move, and the map to move by. We have a hundred alternatives, a thousand paths and an infinity of dreams. Hope-ful, we are halfway to where we want to go; hope-less, we are lost forever.

To deny ourselves the knowledge even of a single person is to lose the central piece of the jigsaw puzzle.

We will find the greatest riches where we find the joy in living; since we serve God and ourselves best in joy, it seems to be the only sensible goal in life.

We must learn to let go as easily as we grasp or we will find our hands full and our minds empty. Though every hello is the beginning of a goodbye, do not lose heart; for every goodbye may also bethe beginning of another hello.

In the Inn of the world there is room for everyone. To turn your back on even one oerson, for whatever reason, is to run the risk of losing the central piece of your jigsaw puzzle.

Happiness, for us, has its own measure, though beauty and riches can often tip the scale.

Pride and impatience in people may not be virtues, but sometimes there is a certain beauty in both.

Don't spend your precious time asking "why isn't the world a better place?" It will only be wasted. The question to ask is "How can i make it better?" To that question there is an answer.

To see people as they really are we must love them unconditionally. Unless we do so, they may not reveal themselves to us and we will miss them forever.

We need not climb the mountain to see into the valley. All things to be seen can be found in a simple shared bowl of rice.

And the epilogue....
Traveling the Way Of The Bull leads nowhere, If one needs to attach meaning, it lies merely in traveling the WAY creatively-in wonder, in joy, in peace and in love. This book described a short part of my voyage, some of the teachers i met along the WAY and what they taught me. It is neither a guide nor a map and if you follow my WAY you will surely get lost. It is merely a sharing. For MY Way can only be mine, as, someday, if i stay with it, it will lead me back to myself. YOUR Way can be equally exciting, as it will lead you back to you, the only place where you can ever BECOME.
Travel joyously.

\\//peace

Very good  I've been rapped up in things this week  Today I decided it would be for me, take it easy -- do a couple small projects in the yard-- Maybe do nothing. So far been up 5 hrs, drank a lot of coffee, an done nothing to speak of.  Thats ok   I enjoyed my dog -- feed the horses some apples---just enjoying the moments  with no stress.   How good we can feel--If we allow ourselfs to. Just thinking out loud I guess.

Take care all  Rick
