Well, about the soma......I was prescribed it because I have been having some extremely sore joints in the middle of the night and moring. My hands/arms fall asleep all night long. It's hard to walk in the mornings or to pick up anything with weight. It goes away in about an hour, execept for my back, which lasts the entire day.
This isn't a new thing, I noticed it a few years ago, but it has gotten much worse over the past 3 months. I got x-rays of my hands and blood work which I have not gotten back.
Last night, I took 1/2 soma before bed and it did nothing for the pain. I called my Doctor (whom said he hasn't gotten my results back yet) and he put my on meloxicam (generic for mobic). That is not a narcotic, but a long acting anti-inflammatory) so I'm excited to start using it.

sure this an AA issue, how to navigate through the medical world and maintain our sobriety. It's very important and many people have gone out and/or never came back over the taking of prescribed medication.
