I need help!!

Please help me someone. I am a 22 year old male that has never thought that I had a problem with alcohol until last night. I am looking for a meeting in the the san bernardino california area. If anyone has information on a meeting place and time or a contact number of someone that could possibly help me please forward that information to me.

A little about what made me realize that I have a problem is that I also have a bad temper. I have not lost my temper in about three years until last night. I lost it for no reason. I was drunk and that is the only reason. The only time I have a hard time controlling myself is when I am drinking. I hurt someone last night verbally and I scared them very much. I love this person and I am looking for any way to show her that I am working to help myself so that she will not leave me. This is the first time I have lost it with her but this is not the first time that alcohol has took control of me so please someone help me.

Hi there and welcome. I wish i could help you find a meeting but i'm in Canada . I'll be here for you to talk to though if you need!!  You are not alone!!!  Look up alcoholics Anonymous in your phonebook, they will be able to direct you.

I'm sorry that you're hurting, yourself and those you love, believe me i've been there!! Don't pick up that drink today, and try that phone tomorrow.  I'll pray for you, you've taken a very big First step in admitting you have a problem. Keep coming back and keep posting how you're feeling, it helps me!!

Welcome You came to the right place, I see that you got a web site for meetings...AA is in the phone book too.  I am sure that there are alot to choose from, I am in SC.

As I just said to crambo, early sobriety is hard but it does get better, one day at a time...sometimes it can be down to one minute at a time, but as long as you don't pick up and go to meetings you have had a good day.  Don't be too hard on yourself at first, stay in the solution and try to the best of your capibility and that is all you need to worry about...all the rest will follow.

Glad you are here...
