Hi all, Have not been around, cannot stay on computer, for say more that 30 a day, every over day, I have to have this Eye Surgery, where they replace my tear duct system, that got all blocked up, and stopped working, and when I went in to get the Details that is were the EEEEKKKK came from. They have to go up thru a nostril and drill a hole in the bone, and make me a new temporary sinus drain, with this little tube, then take it out in 6 months. So I cannot use the computer for more than 30 minutes tops, but I do some reading in very large letters, and respond to only one or two posts, just want everyone one to know that I am not feeling any "poor me's", just the opposite, this Doc is one of the Best, and in spite of the Ouchy's that might come along with this stuff, just feel grateful to live in this Country, where we can have things like this taken care of with great Doctors, Pain is only Transitory, that is sure a truism.
Just wanted to say hi, and looking so forward to being able to write to folks, all the new people here, how wonderful to see, and read their stories, so very inspirational you all are.
We'll know you're here, Toni. Thanks for letting us know. I know we have many members online who read though may not post. The ever present spirit of our fellowship. I'm here always too though my posting may be compromised by my homework in the next few weeks. Thanks to everyone who replies & makes this board what it is. Every post of experience, strength & hope is service & so much appreciated. Thank you for your continuing contribution, Toni. Everything you give how big or how small is to be grateful for. Thankyou, Danielle x

Toni, Best wishes for a successful surgery and speedy recovery! Your insight and experience, and positive attitude here are a real gift. I hate pain, and it is scarey having these procedures that are necessary to take care of oursleves. But like you said, it is so great to have that available. And it was a shock to me to learn that it is actually easier to handle pain when sober! Imagine that! I know you will do just fine, but you will surely be in my prayers, and missed when you are not here.
Love and hugs, Joni
And P.S..... NOT off topic at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our health is very important! (((hugs))) :o)

Hey Toni, sounds rough but you're tough and it won't be as bad as it sounds. It never is. For years I heard people talk about how bad the pain a root canal causes. When I had mine it was a walk in the park. No more crunching on popcorn seeds
