I have been working so hard in a new role at work the past 6 months, it is hard to explain, but it has been soooo  stressful, just the nature of it, and 99% of my time not being with my beloved patients anymore, being stuck at a desk and dealing with all kinds of issues, pathology, and medication changes, not to mention I have been the sole person dealing with computer program changes that we have been having to request to make the clinical part of the practice work better. It SUCKS, I had gotten to a point where I dreaded going in to work and being stuck at the pathology desk. I got into this field to take care of people and love on them and help them.

Today I had a meeting with the Dr., and he agreed that it is a good idea to have more than one of us doing all this. Sharing the load. I am so burned out, I am telling you I am just not cut out for this kind of stress 5 days a week! So I am going to start training two nurses and medical assistant to do what I do, a couple of days a week, so I can get a break and get back to patient care again. I am so thrilled. I was praying about this, and I must admit, I was looking on the internet looking at jobs the other night. God has come through, because I stuck it out. I love my boss, adn I love our patients, and I am so glad I did not leave. :o)
