This man printed up cards a long time ago, and they are still given out at meetings by his son today. He was sober 50 some years when he passed away. His son is sober 30 years.


I used to think this old guy had a few screws loose, but after being in the programme of AA for a while, I realize the following is what its all about.


Practice Love


Become God Conscious


He runs the show-not you


When you beleive this all the time


He will establish your thoughts


And the results will be good


If God wants to change anything--He Will


All He wants you to do is to forgive and love


Be so full of love and goodwill that it cures you and overflows


And cures the people around you.


If you want more Health-wealth-happiness and Peace of Mind--practice the following in your daily thinking.


Never criticize


Never judge


Never condemn


Dont worry


Forgive everything and everybody at once


Turn your problems over to God and leave them there


Give no thought for the morrow


Dont resist others peoples will


Dont criticize any of Gods creations


All He wants you to do is be full of gratitude and praise.

Sounds like a very sane philosophy to live by Phil. Certainly a lot saner than when I try to run things myself.

Let Go, Let God is a biggie for me. Thanks for the share.

You getting any warmth & greenery up there yet? The last weeks of winter always seem the longest. Always darkest just before the dawn ... as they say

Up here--the snows gone-grass is turning green, and trees are in bud. bout 60 -  65 F  and can only get better.:)
