I think its pretty damned sad when something like this happens. Let us know how you make out. It wouldnt take this kid long to make a phone call to whoever your probation officer is. Having been on probation more than once I have some knowledge of probation officers and the system. Probation officers like any other official are humans. There are good ones and bad ones. They all have supervisors and in each system there is a chain of command. An appeal could be made to a supervisor. There are volunteer Lawyer projects probably everywhere if you cannot afford representation as well as different levels of state government that can be petitioned. I am not a lawyer but I have learned that when I do not like the decision of anyone in charge I can always go to the next highest level and bring my concern to them. If you had a court appointed lawyer that represented you at your adjutication you could call them as they most likely are still representing you in the event of issues while under the supervision of the Department of Corrections. The old saying, "knowledge is power" applies here I think. By asking questions of those in charge we find out what our options are. If we simply wring our hands we stay stuck. We can be either victims or victors. our choice.
