AA Thought for the Day
(courtesy AAOnline.net)

March 28, 2009

Discipline

Instead of holding on, I was told to let go.

Instead of using self-control, I was encouraged to turn my life and my will

over to a God of my own understanding.

I'm beginning to understand.

The renewal of discipline is a process that I must set in motion every day.

AA is teaching me to wade through grief, and to take steps of joy

through this powerful gift.

Thought to Ponder . . .

The more I let go, the more powerful I feel.

AA-related 'Alconym' . . .

N O W = No Other Way.

Aloha Jane...just a tag to that very good post is what I learned in recovery also.
The consequence of discipline is freedom.  Free at last, Free at last, Thank God
I'm free at last.

((((hugs)))) smile
