i am 20 months sober and just finished my 4th step for the second time. i was sober 13 years ago for 6 years and went back out. i am looking for someone who has longer sobriety to help me through all this. i am in north cyprus right now and i am moving to the virgin islands at the end of the month. i really am looking for some one to email and talk to when i am in need. i have a hard time sharing and keep a lot inside that i should not so if any one feels that they would like to keep me company or give me suggestions i am looking forward to hearing from you. thanks yvonne 58

I live in Ontario, Canada and realize its along ways away from you, but I am here if you need to get some stuff off your chest until you find someone closer....

Hi Yvonne,

Welcome to MIP. I'm so glad that you are here with us. This is a great board and adds a lot to the quality of my sobriety.

Congrats on 20 months sobriety. You're doing really well. I can totally relate to going back out drinking, as it took me eighteen months to find my way back to AA.

I know how hard it can be to share how we are feeling. But, I know that if I don't share how I am feeling, then I'll pick up a drink again.

Glad you have joined AA forum, it is an great place to be. Here you will find friends to share your feelings etc. You can also mail me gary@clysart.com for all your queries that you might have, Iam here to respond, and also to share my  exp as well.
