Ithought since we have so many folks from all over the world someone might be able to tell me what to do.
I have a friggin' armadillo problem! They have somehow made their way into my area and are DESTROYING my yard. They've dug up my flowers, plants, shrubs, and are now digging at the foundation of my house.
Anyone know how to get rid of armadillos?!
Helpppppppp...... ???

I am guessing call animal control and have them set humane traps for them. I live in florida. We do have armadillos but not like it sounds you do. Our issue is being overrun by iguanas and lizards. A lizard got into my house the other day and my cat almost went crazy trying to catch it. I never heard her make such sounds...."kakakakaka" I thought she was possessed.

I would say get a dog, but when I think about that, If my dogs saw one in our yard they would never go outside again!!
Funny topic, suppose it isn't so much for you though! What do your neighbors do? Must be something that would make them less inclined to get in your yard...
I live in the country! No neighbors and Animal Control suggested I 'trap' them! But, didn't tell me how and then what to do with them. The county I live in has ONE Animal Control person, unless the animal is causing a threat, they will do nothing!
Don't want a dog! Can barely take care of myself.
Little buggers are really tearing up my yard!

I am happy to report I made a phone call to the local Clemson Univ. Ext here in town. They are sending someone out with traps and said they'd take care of them!
Thanks for the input and the chuckles..........Cool how we can chat about anything round here. Just like family.
(((hugs)))
