so how are you today.  just hoping that you didn't get offended by my post yesterday.  i guess i was just trying to say that there is more , so much more , than giving up the drink that this program has to offer.  and there was a time where i thought that by not drinking everything would all get better.  ie; attitude and behaviors....


i am so grateful that by me looking deep with in myself via the 4th step i was able to see that i had alot of work to do.  that i did'nt have to be miserable and pessimistic about people and life to perpetuate my anger anymore.  to live and let live and realize that i have my own stuff to deal with. that being critical of others is a way to feel good about me and can leave me comfortably blind to my own screwed up self.


just love knowing that i can choose to be anyway i want.  i chose to have gods intentions for life than my own.  my own is just too distructive and is way too angry to appreciate a damn thing that comes my way.  because misery loves company and i think that there is too much hate in the world and i don't need to add to it anymore.  and thus far i have become a happier person as a result.

Hey Ellen: how could I ever get offended by such a sweet chick as you?

We just have different beliefs, that is all. It is something to laugh and joke about and even mildly tease each other. Otherwise, god would never have invented banter.

Life is too short to get upset about things like religion and politics, unless you read the newspapers about what Bush and Blair get up to. And then there's Jeb and Berlusconi. Let's not go there.

PS I have to go now my 82 year old flat mate has been pissed for 24 hours now and I just heard a loud crash (metal and bottles mingled with flesh by the sound of it) in the other room....

Old lady stinking of piss and too drunk to move.

I phoned the daughter, who bought her two bottles of vodka yesterday, for help and she wants me to leave her where she is till she is sober.
