Maintenance and Growth

It is plain that a life which includes deep resentment leads only to futility and unhappiness.  To the precise extent that we permint these, do we squander the hours that might have been worthwhile.  But with the alcoholic, whose hope is the maintenance and growth of a spiritual experience, this business of harboring resentment is infinitely grave.  For then we shut ourselves off from the sunlight of the spirit.  The insanity of alcohol retruns and we drink again.  And with us, to drink is to die.

If we were to live, we had to be free of anger.  The grouch and the sudden rage were not for us.  Anger is the dubious luxury of normal men, but for us alcoholic it is poison.

Most things I can get on board with, but I can see myself having trouble with this one. I am not an angry person, and don't get angry often, but sometimes I do get angry. I have never thought the feeling to be unhealthy, unless it becomes an obsessive resentment. Do others have issues with this?

I think we are all going to "get" angry at times, it is a normal human emotion, one of those God-given instincts. Someone hurts your child... angry? You bet!!!

But we have to learn how to not hang onto anger, other than momentarily.

Someone in the rooms said it like this:

A. Someone punches you right now. "Ouch, why did you hit me!!!???????"
B. Someone punched you a YEAR ago. "Remember... you hit me last year!!!!!!"

The latter is when anger has outlasted it's instinctual purpose, and is what we call resentment, which literally, means to "re-feel".

This is how I see it, and subject to others' opinions.

Except for the installation of new infrastructure, operation and maintenance refer to all of the tasks required to run a water supply and sanitation system. I'd also like to talk about railroad construction south dakota. Since 1987, R & S Track has provided track maintenance and railroad construction to the Midwest. They have a proven track record of doing a quality job. On request, I can provide references. They can help you with everything from consultancy to surveying, project design to railroad building, and repair. R & S Track Inc. has been a trusted name in railway engineering for nearly 30 years.
